Q. Are substitutions or customizations available?
A. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate substitutions or special dietary requests for any Meal Kits, housemade dishes, or Bi-Rite Creamery items.
Q. When are holiday menu items available for pickup or delivery?
A. Each holiday features unique menu offerings which are available for pickup or delivery on the following dates:
- Thanksgiving: Friday, 11/22 to Thursday, 11/28 (Thanksgiving Day)
- Christmas and Hanukkah: Sunday, 12/22 to Tuesday, 12/24 (Christmas Eve)
Note: Hanukkah items will continue to be available in our Markets after Christmas. If you'd like to preorder for those dates (12/26-1/1), please call the Market or place your order in person at the deli, 48 hours in advance.
Q. How do I adjust or cancel my existing order?
A. We can add or remove items from your order up until 36 hours before pickup or delivery of the order. To make adjustments or cancel, please reach out to a Holiday Order Specialist for assistance:

Q. What is the Cancelation Policy?
A. Guests can change or cancel their orders up to 36 hours prior to pickup or delivery of the order. Orders canceled with less than 36 hours' notice may be subject to a 75% cancellation fee of the order total.
Q. Is delivery available?
A. Yes, a limited number of spots per 2-hour delivery window are available. Someone must be present to receive the delivery.
Delivery is available in San Francisco, down the Peninsula through Palo Alto, in the East Bay including Oakland, Alameda, Berkeley, El Cerrito, and Richmond, and in the North Bay from Sausalito, Mill Valley, Corte Madera, Larkspur, to San Rafael. **Some restrictions apply, please see full zip code list at the bottom of this page.
There is a $25 flat fee per delivery. Orders will be delivered by a third-party service.

Q. Is Bi-Rite open on Thanksgiving? Can I order for pickup or delivery on Thanksgiving?
A. Yes! Bi-Rite Markets will be open from 8am-1pm on Thanksgiving Day. Holiday pickups and deliveries are available from 8am-12pm. Bi-Rite Creamery is closed on Thanksgiving Day, and Market locations will be closed on Friday, 11/29.
Q. Are there more details about the Pickup Locations?
A. For pickups at Bi-Rite Market Divisadero or Bi-Rite Market Polk Street, please pick up your order at the Market.
For pickups at Bi-Rite Market 18th Street:
- For pickups Friday, 11/22 - Monday, 11/25, please pick up at the Market
- For pickups Tuesday, 11/26 - Thursday, 11/28, please pick up at 18 Reasons, the community cooking school located at 3674 18th Street (across the street and down the block to the west from the Market)
Q. Why are there fees?
A. There is a $25 flat fee for delivery orders. This fee covers the cost of delivery, as well as the cost of extra packaging, extra staff, and extra equipment.

Q. Where do the tips go?
A. Tips are shared between staff and third-party delivery drivers.
